Airline turbulence ahead?
The US airlines index nosedived -11% this week after several airlines downgraded their Q1 outlooks. Delta Airlines flagged a “reduction in consumer and corporate confidence” due to macro uncertainty, leading to weaker domestic demand. But not everyone is tightening their seatbelts—premium and international travel remains resilient, according to Delta.
