1. European gas inventory, being drawn down

European gas prices have been rising in the past few months. The chart below shows that storage has now fallen below the 5 year average. As winter comes to Europe, storage typically bottoms in April.

2. A tale of Index changes

More than $900m of Ampol traded on Monday 25th November. That is 15% of the company on one day. Big announcement or news to change people’s mind? No. MSCI announced the deletion from an index. Huge move!

3. China EVs have achieved parity

China EV sales are strong. But weak in US and EU. One of the main reasons is price. See the below from lithium producer Liontown.
