Firetrail is incredibly proud to announce that small cap stock picker Eleanor Swanson has been promoted to Portfolio Manager at Firetrail. Swanson has been promoted to Portfolio Manager – Australian Small Companies Fund, alongside Managing Director and Portfolio Manager Patrick Hodgens, and Portfolio Manager Matthew Fist.
Swanson, Hodgens, and Fist have a deep history working together at both Firetrail and Macquarie, where they managed high conviction Australian equities funds prior to establishing Firetrail in 2018. The Firetrail Australian Small Companies Fund has delivered strong performance since being made available to investors in February 2020. As of 31 May 2022, the Fund has returned 20.1% p.a. to investors since inception. Outperforming the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index by 17.9%.
